Article Slider Won't Remove Article

Hello All,

I have a smooth slider in my articles for my site: http://www.heartlandcollegesports.com

I unclicked one of the articles for the smooth slider, updated the article, but the check mark went back next to the smooth slider and did not remove it from the slider. What is that all about?

Seems every time wordpress updates itself I get something screwy like this going on.
