Uh, URL, please? I left my crystal ball at the office. Because what you say above (e.g., “header links”, “something the hosts won’t allow”, “categories no longer have the posts in the database”) just doesn’t make sense.
URL is http://www.carnfieldworld.com.
These are comments transposed from a query with the webhosts 3iX.com
I have checked, and what they mean is that when you click the article header, instead of going to the article, it shows a blank page.
There are three categories; genealogy, ancestry, and the default which is uncategorized. There appear to be no posts shown in the categories other than the very latest ones downloaded via RSS today.
I hope that helps.

Chris
Hmm. I was thinking maybe you didn’t have permalinks turned on, but the posts display at the category level:
http://www.carnfieldworld.com/genealogy/
I’m not understanding your site structure. If you click on the “more” link for any of the articles in the genealogy category, you are taken off site. What’s that about? Just curious. [UPDATED: Ah, from your original post about the link manager .. well looks like HIS links work!]
Also, the category count is off in the sidebar, but didn’t you say you recreated the posts from an RSS feed?
When a page goes blank like that, sometimes it’s a plugin causing it. Disable all your plugins, and one by one (don’t cheat, you have to do it this way to pinpoint the problematic plugin) reactivate them, checking your posts after each.
See if that helps.
OK thanks, I`ll try that.
the problem was that I let a programmer from a well known links company try to sort out why their links would not work. I just didnt have time.
Basically, he just left the site in a mess, which I have gradually sorted out. It was just this problem left. So I will try that and get back to you.

Chris
No, unfortunately, that did not fix it.
I have also just noticed these messages at the bottom of the
Presentation/Themes page:-
wp-admin Stylesheet is missing.
wp-content Stylesheet is missing.
wp-includes Stylesheet is missing.
Your_blog 20 Stylesheet is missing.
Could that have anything to do with it?

Chris

He should pony up the cash to hire someone to fix it for you. (But that won’t happen.)
The missing theme files shouldn’t have anything to do with your other problem. But try changing themes and see if any of these issues goes away.
