Archives widget missing months?

    What a mystifying problem. We are attempting to use the default Archives widget on our site at http://lifebeyondadulthood.com , but the archive listing is missing months. Note that it is missing June (and August) as though there are no posts to count? Yet June/August posts DO exist, and an archive page displays normally: http://lifebeyondadulthood.com/2012/06/

    We’ve tried deactivating all plugins to unearth a conflict, no effect.
    We’ve even also tried other third-party archives plugins – and they display the same error!

    What could be going wrong, and how else would you try to troubleshoot this, if you were me, without disrupting this live site?
