Approving Comments

Ok, I understand the reason for having the comments moderation, and I do use it.
But, if I (logged in as admin, of course) post a comment, why isn’t that immediately approved? Seems rather redundant to have to manually approve my own comment each time.
Or do I have something set wrong?
