Can you post a screen shot of what your are seeing on the BruteProtect config page. You can’t put screen shots in the reply, but you could use a service like CloudUp.com and post a link.

What happens when you click ‘Remove API Key’?

I’m not able to replicate this on any of my sites. My best guess at this point, is that your site is having trouble contacting our API.
Can you try sending me a debug report. Click ‘BruteProtect Debug’ at the bottom of the settings page, then click the ‘Send Report’ button.
I’ll look for it.
