Hi @apollo355
Are you sure you need a native mobile app? The reason I ask is that many of the WordPress.org themes are free and they use a technology/style called “responsive”. This means that by building your site using a responsive theme, it will display and work properly on a smartphone or tablet, regardless of screen size.
Typically, you’d only need a native mobile app if you are trying to take advantage of specific smartphone features such as the accelerometer, camera, mic, gyroscope, GPS, etc., and even then, you can often find good workarounds for non-native apps to use many of these features on your website.
What are you trying to accomplish with the site that’s leading you down the mobile app road?
@dansoschin the only reason I need to convert to an app is because I want to harness traffic from the Appstore, where only apps and not websites are allowed.
I understand now, thank you for replying.
One likely reason you are unable to find a free service is that you (a) must have an Apple Developer account that requires an annual fee; and (b) must submit answers to various questions, screenshots, and icons, etc., which is a bit more involved than “normal” plug-in stuff.
It is possible to do it yourself, but if you are not technically inclined, this won’t be a timely/reasonable option.
Have you explored the various plug-ins listed on https://wordpress.org/plugins/ ?
I have not used a plug-in to specifically create a mobile app before, but I took a quick glance and see some options. These may not be free, I realize, but would likely produce what you are seeking – an app you can submit to the app stores.
Good luck out there!
