thanks for the feedback i tried downloading the plugins but my site won’t EVER load ! and when i get to the page where i can add plugin it never makes it to the next page

so far today I have been trying since oh 12 to get into my dashboard and it has been impossible
i used ftp file manager to upload plugins so their there but I haven’t been able to access my plugins page to activate it
this is a nightmare
GoDaddy isn’t known for great “service” – have you asked them about this?
yeah just got off the phone with them they said its on WP side and basically they have no control or estimated time that the issue would be fixed

if on wp side, a theme or plugin can slow down site, have you tried disabling plugins and default theme? in case of plugins – can enable/disable one by one to see where it will make problem.
i have tried disabling plugins but still is kind of slow
i have not tried it on the theme mainly because i can’t log in and make it into the dashboard

try renaming theme folder via ftp, this will reset theme to factory default

by the way, your site isnt that unusable slow for me, i can get /wp-login.php page, not lightning fast but .. its not that painful slow as you describe
NOW it seems to work still slow
but for the last couple of hours NO ONE not even me was able to get to the main page or admin login
and this has been happening for the last couple of days
That really sounds like GD to me :/ . Have you thought about changing hosts?

If it can be ok – its not a WP problem, but most likely a _host_ problem, unless your plugin/theme (actually you have an spartanish looking theme… so i doubt it) fetches some data from network (twitter,triberr,theme update site… etc)
You can always change/try another hosting.
If you have many visitors – use wp-supercache (or another page caching plugin), this will help to decrease system load due to visitors
No I haven’t thought about it yet but at this point I’m thinking of just making my site from scratch and not using WP anymore
but that’s a big project in and of itself
