It’s not just Kassandra, I can’t put anything into the subject line. That means I can’t post to my own forum. Other than that the plugin is easy to use.

At first to the admin-area: Which menu points are available there for you? It should be Options, Categories and Forums.
After you have created your categories, you add the forums into them. Then you have to visit your website (not the backend) and the categories containing the forums should appear. When you enter them it should be possible to create new topics there (as a logged-in user/admin at least). Does the plugin shows you the forums at the website?

When you create a new topic the subject-input field is shown correctly? But you cant insert text when you focus it and start typing? I dont disable any input-fields at all in my plugin so maybe it could be possible that some other plugins are doing this in the frontend area of your website. Is it possible that you can check your other plugins or do you have a link to your website so I can have a look at the generated HTML of your page?
Hi Asgaros, thanks for your answer. I have the right options available in the menu, Options, Categories en Forums.
If I enter the forum on the front side, the categories do appear. It’s just not possible to create a topic, although I am logged in as admin.
I have disabled all my other plugins to see if that would make a difference. None.
I don’t think the subject-inputfield is shown correctly. At least, there’s not a + -sign visible for starting a new topic.

Your site still tells me that there are no categories yet. Are they only viewable for logged-in users or moderators?
I just made a few extra categories. They’re openly visible.

Can you add some open forums to those categories?
Ah, I understand how it works now. I added the forums and now I can create topics.
So there was nothing wrong technically.
