Also, I’d like to know how you can change the text colour easily when using Gutenberg! I added blocks and couldn’t find out how to change the text colour for the life of me – am I overlooking an obvious feature?
Thanx
I’ve just been clicking around, and seen that I can switch to the ‘classic editor’, then the AALB feature is there again 🙂 – but will the classic editor soon be discontinued, and it will just be Gutenberg? (just worried that I won’t be able to use the AALB plugin correctly if that happens)
Hi Sherry, I don’t think the WooCommerce/MaxMind issue is related to Gutenberg, I’d suggest reaching out to WooCommerce support about that.
For the affiliate links, not all plugins have updated to support Gutenberg yet. It should still work within a Classic block, though. Let me know if that doesn’t work and I’d be happy to take another look.
To change the color of a paragraph, you can look in the right-hand sidebar and click on the Color Settings section. You’ll then be able to select and foreground and background colors for the entire block. Does that solve the problem for you?
Wow – I’ve found the text colour setting 🙂 – Thanks!!! It’s kinda hidden – I didn’t realise that you have to click on the little arrow on the right in the settings – sorry!
And yep, the MaxMind issues seems to be a prob from their developers discontinuing and changing a file
@iandunn Many thanks for the quick answers!

@iandunn – can I just ask – is it only the paragraphs that can have the text colour changed in Gutenberg?- What about the Headings? – I’m switching back and forth between the classic editor and Gutenberg to do all my Headings in different colours, but surely it can also just be done in Gutenberg?
Thanks
I’m glad that helped 🙂
Applying the color to Heading block isn’t possible yet, but there’s some discussion about it going on here:
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/8171
In the mean time, it should work to use the Classic block for your headings. That way you at least don’t have to switch back and forth between the two editors.
