Always the same error message

    Hi!
    I use the “Action” shortcodes in templates, for the “Registration” and “Login” pages, and I encounter the same problem on both pages: whatever the error (a field is not filled, l ’email is not compliant … etc), the same error is always displayed: “Incorrect login”.

    On the other hand, on the registration form, I would like to disable password field 2, as well as the password strength test.

    Sounds like another plugin may be suppressing the actual login errors in an effort to be more “secure”. I know iThemes Security is one that includes this feature.

    You can hide the strength meter, but the two password fields are required. Not sure why you’d want to do that though.
