This seems to be a new error that is happening as of 6/17

Sorry to hear about the trouble there. We definitely want customers to be able to check out.

Have they been able to check out until recently or are you just getting started with Square?

Are customers seeing any error messages?

If you can, please install the WP Debugging plugin. It enables WordPress’s debug mode and will save error messages to a log file. There will be a link in the admin bar at the top of the screen to view the log. If this happens again, please check the log and paste it here in your reply.

yes, orders have been failing since the 17th. I tried rolling back to the previous version, but that did not work.

Hey @curiouslt,

Thanks for checking on that error. This is a bug that was recently uncovered. Until then, you’re welcome to add the table yourself.

You would need to access your web host’s database tool. It could be phpMyAdmin or something else. You can also use the WP phpMyAdmin plugin. Please make a backup before making any changes.

After that run the SQL statement that’s in this link:

If you need help running that, your web host may be able to assist you. That should get this table created for you.

Let us know if customers can check out after that.

Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue. The table already exists and is populated.

Hey @curiouslt,

My apologies. I had in mind a different error. That’s definitely not the situation here. It looks like the structure of this table may not be set up correctly. That’s causing it to try and reuse the “primary key” with a value that already exists. This should automatically increment the key number by one with each new entry.

Just an FYI for anyone that stumbles across this. After being on with Woo chat for a 1/2 hour with no real help, I decided to disconnect Square after seeing the store location wasn’t showing up in the dropbox on the settings page. I reconnected Square and that reset things, and orders are now processing again.
