I was using Google adsense ads without any pluging, just put the code in template files or widgets and it worked fine. Then I decided to use a plugin for that to make changes easier. I started with “Easy Adsense” and it was doing just well, I had to correct something in single.php to get the ad shows under posts and removed the google adsense codes from the other theme files like sidebar.php . After that all the ads stopped showing in my blog and I thought it was because the plugin itself so I switched to another one “Quick Adsense” but still the same. Then I tried several Adsense plugins including “Adsense Integrator” with no luck, something stopping my ads from showing up whatever plugin I use! but when I put the ad code in the template it works! so there is nothing wrong with the ads and I really can’t figure out why they don’t show when I use plugins? I deleted all of those plugins and installed “Easy Adsense” again but I get the same result, nothing show up! Is there anything I’m missing here ??

    OK, I found it 🙂
I was reading through http://codex.wordpress.org/I_Make_Changes_and_Nothing_Happens and stopped at

When debugging a problem, change only one thing at a time.

hmmm that’s doable 🙂 … here is the story
When I started using Easy Adsense for the first time ever I set the option of how many ads to show to any number (the default was three) and did all my tests while it was on “any number” when I finished I switched it back to “Three ad blocks” as I want to make sure to play nice with Google 😉 but that was the reason of my problem because when I was trying all those plugins I was putting three ad codes to show in a post top,mid & bottom and they were not showing up but when select to show one of them only it works! Here I tried to change the option maximum number of ads to show more ads and added the three ad codes again and finally all of them appeared 🙂

Why ?? After going through the source code of a post using “Web Developer” plugin I found that there are 2 codes related to other plugins start with <script type="text/javascript" and I think that all those ads plugins were counting them as ads. That’s why I was able to show one add only but after I set it to show a higher or any number it worked.

    What do you think ?
