Alittle help, please

I couldn’t find what I was looking for while strolling through the posts…

2 questions:

How do I, in Comicpress, make it so that the usual blog section doesn’t show the posts with each comic but just a blog that I write once in a while?

And, what code can I use to generate a random comic link without using the widget?
