Thank you for reaching out! This option dictates which affiliate should be rewarded when referring a visitor.
For example, let’s say you have two affiliates, Affiliate #1 and Affiliate #2. A visitor then accesses your site through Affiliate #1 referral link. The visitor does not purchase at this time. Then, the visitor comes back to your website, but through Affiliate #2 referral link. The visitor now decides to purchase.
If the “Credit First/Last Affiliate” is set to “First Affiliate”, then Affiliate #1 will receive a commission, because they were the first to refer the visitor to your website.
If the “Credit First/Last Affiliate” is set to “Last Affiliate”, then Affiliate #2 will receive a commission, because they were the last to refer the visitor to your website before the purchase.
