  • Having successfully trialled free version of this plugin I purchased the pro version (unlimited licences). Unfortunately the pro version is causing me significant problems:
    * in visual editor text is all white – I have to select to view
    * I cannot select text editor

    Another plugin (WP Jump Menu) is not working after activation of pro version of Smart Icons – this was also fine on free version

  • I have de-activated all other plugins to see if the conflict is with a plugin but problem still exists.

    For more detailon the issue, when I highlight text in visual editor to be able to see, it is text mode that is displayed as I can see <p> characters etc.

    This plugin doesn’t have any code that would interfere with tinymce or any editor. If you are seeing all white then we will investigate the issue further please contact us through the right channels

    This plugin doesn’t interfere with WYSIWYG or HTML editor.

    We also noted that the pro license you bought is yet to be used on site.Are you sure you have installed and activated this plugin?

    I have deactivated the plugin as it is useless to me as it is. You will need to tell me what the RIGHT channels are. Surely, I should be able to use this support forum to notify an issue and request support.

    Even if you have activated once we would know when that activation took place and your site will be permanently linked to the license. So your claim is not true.

    Yes you can avail in this forum its upto you. We provide better through E-mail as the conversation is Private we can share information much more freely

    The PRO version of this plugin works perfectly fine on WordPress 4.0 and we have even released its first add-on yesterday. Anyone can test drive all the features of both the plugins on our demo here

    We tested the PRO version of the plugin and even tested the new Menu Add-on the plugin both seems to work along with WP JUMP menu.

    Can you please post your PHP error log here so we can investigate the issue further.

    I am not sure what more do you want us to do, we are helpless to support you if you don’t share specific information about the error or give us access to the site/installation that is causing the error so we can investigate

    First off all you have started a support thread in the Smarticons for WordPress free version, we cannot provide support as quickly as we would have given to the PRO version. That is why we have specifically included the contact info for PRO support at the bottom of PRO plugins admin page in WordPress.

    Here are the things we have done to resolve the issue since then.

    • We tested our plugin with the plugins you said were conflicting and found them to be working perfectly fine.
    • We asked you to give me PHP Error Log
    • We pointed our that you haven’t even activated the plugin yet as per our licens log.
    • We also tried going through the troubleshooting procedure by asking you to check whether the visual editor is on or off.

    We do not wish to continue to deal with you nor your product and I would like a refund. Please arrange.

    Nope, we cannot issue a refund without at-least a chance to investigate the issue. Just give us your contact E-mail we will resolve this issue for you or we could E-mail you to your Paypal ID.
