Did you try using text widgets? Where exactly do you want to place AdSense ads?
I am trying to show ads on right side of header, and on top of sidebar.
Yes, i did try text widget too, but same results. The grey saving circle would spin forever.
Thanks
I just installed Ad Injection and it also would not save Adsense code. When I clicke “Save all Settings” after entering code, it will load for a while and then give me “500 Internal Server Error”
Can anyone please help me with this, its getting frustrating.. I have just applied for Adsense, and now I can’t even show ads so they can review my account.
Thanks
Try this:
<div class="header_right">
<div class="widget advt_widget"> TRY PLACING IT HERE</div>
Do you have your AdSense codes?
I took the code, but messed up all categories ..
It moved all categories tabs to the right of logo…
But atleast it saved the code … Any other suggestion?
Thanks
Can you place the ad at the location I suggested?
What place ..
I added this code inside text widget.
<div class=”header_right”>
<div class=”widget advt_widget”> Adsense</div>
Not sure where you want me to place it.
Thanks
Can it be that my site doesn’t like javascript?
No.
What you can do is: Look for a header widget in the header section. Your theme provides for it. Drag a text widget there and just within that just place your AdSense code there and click save.
I tried that already .. it didn’t work
Which theme are you using?
Its “TechNews” by Templatic
Demo: http://templatic.com/demos/?theme=technews
I even tried different theme, but problem persists.
Thanks
The problem is theme-specific. TechNews being a commercial theme, and because they promise support, I think you may contact your theme vendor for support and guidance.
This is NOT a WordPress problem.
Well, turns out it neither WP nor theme issue.
When I tried same thing from home, i was able to add the code without any issue. I guess my work’s firewall was not letting me add it or something..
Thanks for your help anyways .. issue resolved
