Adsense unwanted border…please help

    Hi everyone,
    I have a website, ccwbystate.com, with adsense ads on it. Unfortunately, the ads always have a white border around them. I have tried 4 different plugins as well as placing the ads in manually but to no avail. Is this a problem with my current theme? The borders also seem to have this odd “+” sign at the top left as well. I have no idea what this could be, please…any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    You’re a life saver. I got rid of the border by changing the css from border 1px to 0px and it was successful. Unfortunately, I still have this “+” sign above the top left side of the ad. Any idea how I can get rid of that to make it look more natural? The link is ccwbystate.com/about. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
