• Hello,

I installed the clean version of wordpress 3.9.2 and my admin menu bar is broken. I have problems in my css page also. What might be the problem? There he has outside calls?

    Regards,

  • the description of your problem is not enough to allow someone to help.
    1) how is the admin bar broken?
    2) Where do you see it broken?
    3) what do you mesan you have problems on your css page? What CSS page?
    4) what does ‘There he has outside calls?’ mean???
    5) is it a local install or on a server?
    6) do you have other WP installs that work?
    7) does your user have the ‘ Show Toolbar when viewing site’ checked on?

    Hi & thx juggledad.

It’s ok in localhost, not on my server.

    http://mysite/wp-admin/ is ok (good display)

http://mysite/ -> visit site connected as admin (index.php I guess) is broken

The correct display is not respected.
I don’t see icons (the “w” + home pix for example)
Recent posts are not on the left sidelines (middle of the page)

I would like to know if the css/js files get from an another website ?
How are built these links ?

show_admin_bar_front in on TRUE (I’m the admin from the installation)

Network ? Configuration or file path?

    Best regards,

It’s ok in localhost, not on my server.

you’ve confused me. Do you have two sites? If there is a site on the server that is not working, can you get into the backend?
If so, disable ALL plugins and use one of the default themes. Can you see the menu bar now?

    Re,

    Sorry, still on my worry.

An instance of WP 3.9.2 is installed on my work station with WAMP (works fine)
An another instance of WP 3.9.2 is installed on my server (it sucks !)
There’s no plugin, there are only the basic themes, those installing.

But I just saw the problem ^^

Finally, for the “same” website, my render page IE is different.

What defines this value? what can change this value?

    Thx to you.

I avoin IE at all costs – check the page with FireFox and/or chrome or Safari and see if it works, could be an IE issue

Hi, yeah it’s an IE issue, more exactly the render page (press F12).

When I reach my localhost the render page is ok (recent version)

    Same content/pages/theme/installation… another server, my IE10 gets a IE7 render. Why ?

What defines this value? what can change this value?

You got me, I’m a mac user and avoid IE at all costs :>)
