Admin area goes missing with 're-installation'
-
I’m pretty sure this is on version 3.3.1, done last December. I created a little WP site for http://www.eastcoastscreens.com
Then, a guy with a great pitch sold the owner on doing SEO his way, which included ditching wordpress and using another product. Well, the owner has had the new site for a while and it isn’t doing what they need, so they want the old WordPres site back. Fine. I have a database backup and the files. I re-installed 3.3.1, uploaded all the plugins and photos etc, then imported my backup database via phpMyAdmin. Now, the old site is back! This is great.
There’s a big problem though. When I try to get to the admin section, I get nothing but blank pages. I can’t get anything, even when trying specific files in the url, etc. Forgive me, I can get to http://eastcoastscreens.com/pages/wp-login.php but it takes me nowhere. And I can see http://eastcoastscreens.com/pages/wp-admin/upgrade.php which tells me i’m doing fine. LOL
Anyone have any idea what’s going on? I can’t get to any part of the main dashboard at all.
Thanks!
