Yes you can, however, I seem to be having issues with this.
In user roles > Member > registration options. By default its sent to auto approve users. I haven’t seemed to figure this out, can you let me know if you have any issues with disabling auto-approve new registered users? in user roles > Member > registration options. So you can manually approve new users.
Let me know
Thanks!
Ok, I did just test it and it gave me the “pending approval” message and corresponding email. However, I did not receive a notification of the new registration in the admin email… ?
I take that back, the test register was granted immediate access to login even though the message was sent to them. I’m assuming that is why I did not receive the email on the admin side. This problem also makes the approval email obsolete. Any way to get this fixed asap? Your plugin has been absolutely AWESOME up to this point. Thanks so much!
Ok, it seems that the only thing not working properly is the admin alert email when a new user registers. I was able to manually approve the user and the approval email sent properly.
**Side note: Any suggestions on how to break up the “Members” page into two separate groups? I am creating a job board, and it would be really nice if the employers could be separated from the applicants. Possible?
Thanks so much for this awesome plugin!
Hi @ebrown05,
Do you have any WordPress mail SMTP plugins installed which reconfigures the wp_mail() function to use SMTP instead of mail()?
We suggest some alternative solution, please see this doc for more info Not receiving user emails or admin notifications
