Adding Widgets

Hey ya’ll!

I’m really new to this whole blogging thing. I keep trying to add Amazon widgets to my wordpress page. I read somewhere else that amazon Widgets are not allowed? But then I read that it is if you own the website, I do own the website, I just use WordPress to build it, can anyone tell me where exactly I’m supposed to put the HTML for the widget?
