Adding user page

    The page I tried to make was to like items for registered users. You see the same feature on photo websites as 123rf.com, dreamstime.com and many more.

    I tried out the script given on:

    https://digwp.com/2010/12/login-register-password-code/

    which dates from 2010. It partly worked. But where it doesn’t work it looks more a general problem than because the script is too old. When a new user registers the e-mail with activation link never arrives. The same issue when trying out to register for new users without this script.

    So I wonder if new registrations are still possible with a WordPress installation of the last version. If yes, how to enable complete registrations?
