adding Slug feild to author role

hi.
since i have an other language WP i need to change the link through slug field to something that will not make the link long in the browser.
so i asked my authors to use the slug field to do so.
to my surprise they cant see the slug (cute name)field.
is there a way to add it for them?
or is it only for Admin role?
