Instagram and Twitter feeds can be added via plugins.
You can try a plugin such as this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-twitter-feed-widget/ for twitter and this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-instagram-widget/ for Instagram.
Hi there! I installed the wp-instagram-widget and my instagram is showing up in the side bar which I like but I also want it to show up in the footer as a slide show. How do I accomplish that? Thank you!

Just add the Instagram widget in the footer sidebar.
I have it in the footer and in the blog and it’s only showing up in the blog. Just adding the instagram wideget to footer sidebar isn’t working. Any other suggestions?
Have you set the username and number of pictures to be displayed on the widget when adding it to the footer?
