Adding Google Search Form

Ok, so I can add the custom Google search form to my blog easily enough (just paste in the code they give me), but I can’t put it exactly where I want it. I’m using the Atahualpa theme if that matters.

Orignally I was trying to put it where the original search box was, so I edited searchform.php, erased the code, and entered the Google code… that didn’t work.

Then I turned off the original search thingy and tried placing the Google code in all sorts of different places throughout header.php, and could only get it to show up at the very top.

Now I’m thinking it would be cool to have it show up right beside the page listings, within the dashed boared which surrounds the page names (this code is still contained within the header I’m pretty sure).

Anyway, I’d settle for either option at the moment.

Anyone know how to do this or have any ideas?
