• Hi,

I am using mygrid2, which displays posts as boxes on the home page.I have edited the home page (index.php) of the theme, by adding extra content box below the boxes. I had to do this by editing the .php directly. I was wondering if it is possible to link this up so that the conetnt of the newly added <div> tags can be edited from within the WordPress UI? Or was I able to do this without even touching the original .php fles?

I am fairly competent in coding.

Any help would be great, thanks.

  • Probably you can setup a static page and recall it in your home via a custom loop 😉

Ah good idea, so this static page would be editable within the WordPress UI just like a normal page?

But obviously not show on the menu.

EDIT: Also, YouON, seeing as you seem to respond to most of my questions :), I’m having a problem where my javascript rollover doesn’t work unless I’m logged into wordpress. Any ideas?
