Adding custom code and text to the home page

    I have a few questions. I am using the free version of health-center-lite and created a child theme of that.

    1. How can I add custom code or text to the home page? It seems I am stuck using “Services,” “Projects,” etc in order to add any content to the home page. I would like to add a slideshow widget in place of the static image option. In the perfect world I would hide “Services” and “Projects” and only have a descriptive paragraph with a slideshow on the home page. How can I accomplish this?

    2. When I was attempting to use the “Services” section of the home page, I was unable to load any icons. I did see some instructions on this forum, but they don’t seem to match what options I am given in the version of my theme.

    3. The “Projects” area has a checkbox to “enable home project section.” This doesn’t appear to work. It seems it is always enabled.

    4. When you add an image to the home page it gets stretched and doesn’t look right. I supposed the only way to fix that is to upload an image with the exact dimensions of the area provided.

    1. First question is beyond of the support, bcoz its related code customization. Plz recommended your developer.

    2. Second question Icon : If you add any icon in service section follow below link and choose your icon.

    and use icon in service section follow This methods like : – fa-user, fa-laptop etc.

    3. Third question Enable home project section :For this Kindly Replace index-projects.php file with this LINK then save and check your website.

    4. Four question stretched Image : Plz Upload or use Slider Image 1200×450 px ratio.

    Thank you, Imran, for your response.

    I found my answer to #1 – I happen to be a developer and was rather frustrated by how difficult this seems to be.

    Under Customize > Header Settings > Front Page Setting, there’s a checkbox that says Enable/Disable Front Page. Wish I could have found that sooner. I think it would be more intuitive if this option was found under “Home Page Settings” it doesn’t makes sense that it’s found under “Header Settings”
