Hi @ckarni!
tnx )) You welcome to share your delight at Reviews.
Regarding catgories
WP already has a builtin feature for taxonomies: both results and scales supports it.
I dont’ completely underdtand what do you want to see in the result?
Can you provide some scheme/drawing of you have now and what you want in the result?

I’ll use the same example from above:
I’m trying to create an occupational test and let’s say I have 2 scales – technology and arts, and I want to divide the answers according to categories.
I’ve got the following questions:
1. I like going to museums
2. I know how to fix a a DVD player.
3. I am a good painter
4. I like reading about new technologies.
questions 1,3 respond to ‘art’ scale, while 2,4 respond to ‘tech’.
on the other hand, Q 1,4 refer to preferences, while 2,3 refer to skills.
I was wondering whether it is possible to add categories to specific questions, so it can be used when analyzing the results and shown in the graph
No currently and I dont’ think it could be done in this model.
To get what you want:
* add all scales both leaves and parent-scales
* duplicate scores of leaves in parent scales
Then in the result you will have individual scores by each leaf scale and also parent.
But Im’ not sure what you want to see in the result.

Hi Alexander,
thanks for the quick replies.
ideally I would want to see several charts (3 in this case):
1. total score for each scale.
2. score chart for each scale by categories (1 for skills and one for preferences – someone can really like art, but have very little skills).
Pls provide some example, screenshot, image.
For example I use Gyazo:

Hmm..
How it’s possible mathematically? In your example business value shoud be in both skills and prefs, but it’s actually only in one of them now.
Pls provide your numbers for this dataset.
Or.. Better try to create some google table with diagram and share it.

In the diagram:
‘Art’ is very high on skills, very low on pref (very skillful, but doesn’t like to draw),
‘Tech’ is low on skills, low on pref,
‘business’ is high on skills, high on pref…
Sorry, I dont’ understand if it’s possible in reality.
Pls provide concrete numbers, table and example diagram.
Closed as unclear.
ps: When you will have more clear data/examples, I will reopen it.
