add string to po

    hi.
    i am trying to add some new string and translate to a po file in a text editor.but poedit did not display this new strings.why?what should be done?

    You have to add new text like below then it will show in poedit tool.

    /* 42 is line number of string */
    #: theme/theme-file.php:42
    msgid “like”
    msgstr “”

    After adding above save file and open in poedit tool then find “like” word it will shows there.
