• Hey guys!
First post, I have been using WordPress for a while and never had a problem like this.

My main domain is advada.com.au and I have just set up a add on domain within this site called fineappleapparel.com
I cannot figure out why I can’t access my wp-admin on my fineapple domain.

I am trying to help my friend with this and I feel stupid not being able to work it out!

    Thanks in advance

  • addon’s domain are blank when you add it to your host (main domain of host). you have to move all the files and database to the new addon domain and configure it according to the domain name like change url’s in database and create new database and change the configuration in config.php file of wordpress.

wordpress by default only work on single domain.if you are using multisite wordpress than that is other things.

you need to provide more detail about the question.
    i hope you got it.

Hi mate, thanks for your reply.

The default WordPress site is working and I can see it all good. It’s just when I try go to the administration page, it just stays at fineapple.com.
Sorry I am a bit new t wp. Always been a joolma guy

you wordpress website at advada.com.au is working perfectly you.

you want to use fineapple.com for admin only. you can accomplish that from the cpanel using redirect.

redirect your new domain to the admin of the old website and when you enter the old domain you will access the admin section of old domain.

this can’t be changed from wordpress admin.
you should configure that from cpanel.
