Add Create New User for Editor

    I need to give the Editor the capability to add new users.
    I can see that there are two options: Add new User or Create New User – which is correct?
    Also, what does edit_user option mean?

    And lastly, will the Editor who adds new users be able to see a list of the users he/she has added? This is rather important. It would be good if the Editor didn’t see the admin user at all, just those he/she has added.

    User Role Editor hides users with ‘administrator’ role from other users who can edit users by default.
    In order to see users list role should include ‘list_users’.
    ‘edit_users’ allows to select user from the list and edit his profile including change his role.
    In order to create new users role should include ‘create_users’.
    ‘add_users’ is for multisite configuration to add new existing user to the subsite.

    Hello, when I give the “editor role”, they cannot get into the WP dashboard. The bar at the top to do that does not appear like with the admin role. The editor has the rights but can’t get in. This could be a Theme problem because it is a members site where employees login to get documents and stuff. Please let me know what you think about this.
