Add content above an event

    Hi,

    My theme dynamically populates the H1 of the events Calender with the Post Title, which is ‘Events’

    Is there a way to edit this so that the Post Title is Workshops’

    Yes, you could add this function to your theme’s function.php file which will give you specific control of the titles. Adjust this code as needed: https://gist.github.com/bskousen/3801dce1b0f16a4f52af48b014bd9ffa

    Thanks for your response Marta,

    I added the code to my child theme functions.php but I cannot see where these heading are displayed on my Events page (no changes to the file affects the page.

    Could you advise which one specifically overides the ‘Post Title’ (“events”)

    For small string changes like that you can use SayWhat plugin.

    This string should be located under the-events-calendar text domain.
