Add Authors to Archives

    How would I add author names to archived posts? They appear on the front page, but when on individual post pages, the author name disappears. I know this is a tag issue, but how would I add this?

    Have a look at your blog’s theme (Presentation > Theme Editor > Single Post) and then add:

    <?php the_author() ?>

    to your theme where you want it to appear.

    Well, I’m still using 1.2.2 (I haven’t had a chance to upgrade). Is it more important that I upgrade to the latest version before fixing this?
