ACTIVATION EMAIL

Hi Simple,
I already updated to the 3.7.5.1 with activation key CHECKED for FREE|GOLD level from the membership level (Email Activation)
I did a register test, I DID NOT get email confirm at all??? Completely NO and NONE whatsoever?! I even did 3 different times using different email addresses. NO LUCK!
However, It did shown the message saying…
You need to comfirm your email address. Please check your email and follow instructions to complete your registration.
The new-user is showing in the Members menu tab, also the front-end.
The cache is working good btw, even the cache not working, I should at least get a registration email confirm by registering. I even checked the spam folder. NOTHING AT ALL?

Hi, have you entered any details in the fields underneath Email Settings (Email Activation)? This is located in WP Membership -> Settings -> Email Settings.

Hmmm, Subject already resolved. This just an inquiry for the activation link.
I kept thinking when I clicked the activation link, got to a new browser it say “Account already active. Click here to login”. Also the browser tab, it say WORDPRESS-ERROR .. So it got me to do another testing. I can login even not clicking the activation link after all?
Apparently, for the outside point of view is working. But the actual function is not accordingly it suppose to?!
Ok, I don’t want to stuck on this subject, and to do the next task. But, if there’s a fixed down the road, that’s great… I just hope the registered people not try to login without clicking the activation-link but go by the information to activate their account (Off course some people will just because?!)
Overall, it’s much more than previous HAVE NO activation key at all…

I just carried out a test and it worked for me. I clicked on the registration link received in my e-mail. This link took me to the browser “I was not logged in, it was a new browser window”. I saw the following message and clicked on Click here link.
Account already active. Click here to login.
This took me to the login page with out any issues or error messages displayed. If you are receiving error messages then something is not set up correctly in your site.

My site is fine. I always have the hosting to check for any errors. It’s always good per the tech person. As matter of facts, he just ran for error 2-3 days ago too. No errors.
I also getting the same what you mentioned. Activation link, new window for Account already active. Click here to login, after click it takes me to the membership-login. It’s all good…
But can you possible try this to see?
1. DO NOT go to your email to click the activation-link key. After you registered, Just head straight to yoursite.com/membership-login to login this way. Because I can login without the activation-key when I did a login test?2. When you on this Account already active. Click here to login new window, next to the favicon icon, do you see WordPress > Error ?
It shown on my side ONLY for this page. I never see this WordPress > Error before from the front-end of my site.I hope to clarify what I say this time?

You need to activate your account. If you didn’t receive an email then click here to resend the activation email.Therefore I can confirm that the plugin is working correctly. If you can log into your account without clicking on the activation link in the e-mail then that means that you have not set up the plugin correctly.
Can you carry out another test. Make sure the member does not exist under Members in your site and also make sure there is no user name with the same name you are about to test in your site under Users in WordPress.
Make sure Email Activation is enabled in the Free membership level.

#1, I know you are right, after all, you are a developer… Anyway, It works great!!! You right, I didn’t set the plugin right!!! I did used my sub-domain to do a BRAND NEW installation testing, it came out accordingly, I even tried to login after registered. IT WOULDN’T LOGIN, NO LUCK… I did also get the message as well… You need to activate your account. If you didn’t receive an email then click here to resend the activation email. All good!!
#2, For your duplicated member question… Yes, I do have the same users in the members and matches the default(wp) All users. This because I use the [simple-membership-wp-user-import] to imported the members. That’s what this plugin is all about?.. Also when people registered from the simple-membership, it will auto and synchronized in the ALL-USERS list, so both will have the SAME USERS. That’s normal?…
#3, Here is my MAIN QUESTION. Everything is already setup, this is the only feature I am facing issue for now.. I also don’t want to delete and to start from scratch… So There got to be that ONE PARTICULAR setting/check it shouldn’t be marked for? Can you possible to help, which one? That way I can unchecked it and do a quick fixed for it?
