    hello

I have purchased and installed a WP site form a hosting company.
I have activated the https with SSL certificate
I have access to my site from any devices on which I enter the url https://mydomain.fr but my MacbookPro.
Each time I enter the url I see “connexion” for a while and then at the end I get an error_connection_timed_out (same behavior on Chrome, Firefox and Safari).
I have cleared the caches, reseted my certificates nothing changed
I am wondering if my url is not looking for a localhost server/domain (I have local sites for dev which are on a NAS)
How can I check where my url is pointing at localhost or external?
Any other idea will be appreciate as it several days now I am turning around this issue
At the latest I thought to reinstall my OS to get a fresh install.
    thanks

Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.

A coming soon page doesn’t let me see what’s going on (or not going on).

Removing the extra “w”, your site comes up quite quickly and without any problems.

Sure it works BUT not when I try to access to it from my MacbookPro….
I have an iPad connected on the network and with it no problem at all

Check your hosts file, try another browser; I don’t know what it might be. The site is OK.

Thanks for the tip on hosts it was the root cause indeed…
I have on my machine installed Local by flywheel and at some point I put as domain the same as my external’domain then obviously when I type my url my machine was looking at the local site instead of my external site
Once removed the internal hosts by magic my external site appears on chrome…..
    😃
