    Good Night, I need so much you help!

    I alwayes use to red at the web thats important to the security to create another user to give administrator permissions.

    1- I enter with “admin” user and created another new user and put it as Administrator.

    2- I enter with this new user and define “admin” as just “subscriber” .

    Now that happens:

    When I acess my panel http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin appears a mensage sayng thats no permission and do not appears the filds to login. An when I acesss http://www.mysite.com/wp-login and put the new user informations appears tha same mensage.

    Please Help me

    Are you saying that you want to replace the ‘admin’ user with a different user name, other than ‘admin’, and assign that user (yourself, I assume) as the administrator role?

    Hi,

    I just created a “new user” and give it administrator role and removed that administrator role from original “admin” profile, but did not erase it.

    But i dont know why, now i cant acess, cos qhen i try with http://www.mysite.com/wp-admim do not appears the fiels to login and just appears a mensage saying a have to permission to do that and the same happens with the new user, the fields inthat case appearas but when i login that mensage appears again.

    I am so crazy cos the blog is there but i cant acess or rest users.

    Please help me

    When you create a new admin role user name, you can’t just change it from the admin panel. The user name must also match in your wp-config.php file and in mysql, otherwise you won’t be able to access your login. Did you change the user name from ‘admin’ to your new user name for the administrator in wp-config.php?
