A plugin to schedule archiving?

    It’s great that in WordPress you can schedule a post to give live at a particular date and time but I also need posts to be removed from the site at a given date and time. Changing the status of the post to something other than “published”, preferably “archived”.

    Is there a plugin that can do this? It seems like a fairly common requirement for some sites that use WordPress as their CMS.

    Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated! Apologies if this has been covered before. I couldn’t find any references to it.

    There isn’t an “archived” post status in WordPress.

    I know that. There should be one really. Anyway that doesn’t change the fact that I need a plugin that can change the status of a post from publish back to something unpublished, on a given date and time.
