• Was getting 500 errors (site visitors were telling me and I got the error as well sometimes) a few days ago. My hosting told me the problem was WP Fastest Cache plugin. So I disabled it and all was fine. I see some references to 500 error in here and resolved. Does this mean the 500 error has been fixed with update and I can use your plugin again? Thanks.

When you get 500 error, can you login into wp admin panel?

    Hi,
Im having the same problem. after i enable and write to .htaccess the required code. I get a 500 error. Then i cannot access wp admin or the site overall. I have to ssh or ftp and edit .htaccess and remove all code in it and refresh to have access again. please advise.

Hi @ ltdxdtl, Leverage Browser Caching causes this issue. Please don’t select this feature and save.

that’s good. now does the site work?

Hello, same issue here, and I end up proceeding like ltdxdtl does.
Thing is, it does that only in the root URL, not in the add ons domains that I have setup.
    Any ideas?
I have downloaded the files to have them as reference.
    Thank you

Hi @facu Puig, can you reach /wp-admin?

Yes, what I do is clean the htaccess file and everything works again, thing is, why is the htaccess file being modified in a way that broke the site.

    Thank you

Browser Caching is not selected by the way
