Again, updating is fine until someone submits a form. I use custom html in several of the forms as well. Don’t know if that would have anything to do with it.
I use a child theme of Zelle Pro
Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, Classic Editor, Classic Widgets, Wordfence Security, WordPress Importer and WP Mail SMTP, and clearing all cache data.
Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.
I get “there was an error trying to send your message, please try again later”.
I turned the supporting plugins I have for Contact Form 7 back on and was able to complete a form successfully.
