404 instead of category.php

    Hi,

    i have created my own theme and everything works fine, but I cannot reach the main categories (those without parents), the others work fine. I have already browsed through som .htaccess issues, but all of them assume a generel error in redirecting to the cats.

    ps: I am using wordpress for half a year now and its really nice, because this is the first time I need help 🙂

    Unless you provide a link to your site, no one will be able to offer much in the way of specific help.

    ah, fixed it.

    just didn’t know that you have to enter the category base /category/. Didn’t think of that, because the other categories worked.

    btw I can’t tell you the adress because it’s not online yet, but thx anyway
