404 Errors Everywhere !

    I installed and activated this plugin in order to get rid of multiple minified CSS/Java/HTML warnings in online SEO checkers. Since installing and activating it, I now have multiple 404 errors and my site SEO rating has plummeted !

    The 404 links causing the issues are all in the format https://www.website.co.uk/wp-content/cache/et/8/et-core-unified-16074572174032.min.css.

    How do I stop this happening and, if I can’t, how do I backtrack out of this as these errors seem worse than those I was trying to resolve ?!!!

    that is a file from your theme/ pagebuilder (divi/ elegant themes) Paul, and Autoptimize by default doesn’t touch files in wp-content/cache .. did you also implement a page caching solution (AO doesn’t do page caching) and if so can you try purging that page cache?

    Hi Frank ….. thanks for replying.

    I ran a page cache clearance late last night and have woken up to find all errors have now cleared so I may not understand what happened but all is now good !!!
