Hello I’m having 404 errors on all my users’ page, I’ve read a topic about that from last year, but solutions given are not working or not available.

Well, users’ page work when permalinks are set to simple (?p=123) but not when I set them to /%postname%/ so I’m stuck with bad permalinks..

    Hu @matthiasuranga,

Have you assigned correct Ultimate member pages in Ultimate member -> Settings -> General -> Pages? Make sure that your user page contains the shortcode of your profile form which you can find in Ultimate member -> Forms section.

The permalinks should be set to postname.
Do a quick conflict test and see if some of your plugins or your theme causes this issue.
Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    Regards.

Doing the conflict test brought up that Polylang and Ultimate Member have conflict between them.

But the weird thing is, the conflict only appears for the non-default language that I have installed. As default pages/forms from UM are in english, I have put every pages in english by default, which is not my primary language. Putting the default User Page to the corresponding page in french made it work. But doing that, when an user, on the english “version” of the site, goes from his account to his profile, it switches to the french “version”.. Is there a way to have different hypertext links depending on the page you’re on, even on UM elements, such as the “View profile” under the user’s avatar in his account ?

    Thanks in advance, best regards.

    Hi @matthiasuranga,

Unfortunately, currently, the Ultimate member is only compatible with WPML multilingual plugin.

    Regards.
