404 age error

    Well I tried adding to a post that was answered..but it is movin on..here goes again.
    Ok I am getting this 404 error page dunno why…
    Just installed yesterday and changed the permission on index.php to 666.
    added the re_write mod to .htacess and set peralinks to the post method, but I get the 404 when I view the post which is going to this address: http://www.webdesignslc.com/wordpress/2005/02/28/mistaken-bloke-yer/
    All this started from a fresh install before I changed poermissions and added to htaccess, but I believe I was able to view the post once after/saving.. publishing. I also get an error when I upload(not 404) wheather that makes a difference

    Seems I can’t view my data base tables so that’s out,but don’t think that is it.

    I am also having this error. Only the mod_rewrite page for tags says “/archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/” is a good start…well that works fine, but something like “/archives/%category%/%author%/%postname%/” spits back a 404.

    humm…it look like different configurations of the tags work, and others do not. So many links with different failure workaround *sigh*

    thanks for the link. Wish I could help you out more
