• Hi all I just changed my permalink structure to a custom one and everything seems to work fine now but there is one link that is getting this : message when I click on it
    Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /contact/ on this server.

I’m not sure why its happening to just this particular link but can anyone assist in what I should do to resolve this?

    Thanks again all!

  • A link to your site would help.

    LINK

    Thanks.

Where is this link on your site? And what custom permalink structure are you using? Your page links appear to have the default structure but your posts appear to using /%category%/%postname%/.

Hi esmi, the contact link located at the top of the page is the one that displays the error message… when I went into the permalink settings under custom – I placed the /%category%/%postname%/ that was the only thing I touched. Should I have done something else?

    Thanks again,

Ah – your top nav bar is handcoded! Not that this is a problem, per se. What contact form plugin are you using?

Hey esmi yes the top is hardcoded but its not the contact form thats giving me the issue its the contact link on the top of the page right after the store link when you click it gives : you don’t have permission to access this page error. I just wasn’t sure why that one had an issue when the other links work fine…

Would I maybe need to delete the page from my dashboard and recreate it again?
    Thanks sorry for the confusion.

The error message may be related to the contact form plugin. Can you try deactivating the plugin and then see if you can access the (bare) Contact page?

    will do thanks

When I try to click on link ‘I’m no longer making it complicated’ Error 403 pops up. I haven’t made any changes other than updates, BUT I haven’t updated to 3.0.3 yet.

    Here’s the link.
