3.01 upgrade causing admin to "hang"

I just made a clean install of WP 3.0 on a brand new site today. I did all the usual settings (I’m a WP vet of 5+ years),upgraded to 3.01 and added all the normal plugins that I use on every site I have. I installed suffusion theme.

I noticed that when I was in admin section Firefox is continually showing the “Loading” symbolic graphic in the tab. The site itself is loading fine and very quickly, this only occurs when logged in to admin.

I thought it may have been a problem with the theme or one of the plugins, so I deactivated everything but to no avail.

As I sit here typing this the admin still has not finished loading. It appears that it might be a problem with javascript. The reason I suggest this is that in the suffusion theme, the colour pickers were not working.

I did a reinstall of WP through the admin panel hoping that would fix the problem but it did not. I also noticed another post where someone had mentioned that their memory usage had almost doubled since upgrading to 3.01.

I am about to reinstall 3.0 to see if it fixes this. I will keep you posted.
