I had to disable this Plugin, Two Factor Authentication.

I had been using this plugin without error for about 4 months on one cPanel account with a few sites at one hosting company.

I encountered the error on, January 4, 2020.

When logging on to the WordPress admin dashboard, the error was,

    File not found

An error occurred during a connection to domainName.com.

Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.

To resolve the issue I renamed the plugin via FTP.

I am not very familiar with WordPress. But, I do use 2FA with other accounts; no issues (know on wood).

Is this a common issue with this plugin? Or, is this a common issue with WordPress plugins in general?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Please can you share the information with us as to how you determined the issue was related to this plugin? The message does not seem to reference 2FA, and that text is not part of this plugin.

If you removed a plugin and your problem still happened, then, logic suggests that your problem was not related to the plugin.

If you can have some information linking your problem to the plugin, then please open a new support topic (the wordpress.org forum guidelines say not to post in other people’s topics) with that data, and we will be glad to try to help.
