Admin username displayed in new registrations issue
-
Hi,
I installed a new copy of wordpress on a standalone server recently and activated lots of plugins that I use on other blogs.
Thing is now when anyone registers on my blog my admin username (which is not admin as i changed it to something else) appears in their “website” or Jappber fields so basically they know my admin username.
Then I realised that the password field already had a password in it (in the new registrations) although you can’t see the password it has the ******* but there is one there. Also when ever I create a new user there is always a password in the first field along with my Admin name in the “website” field….
Any clues as to what I have done? Or, a plugin I installed has done?
List of my plugins includes:
