I have been managing two blogs for a client (workplaceevolution.com/blog and pure-possibility.org/blog). After moving them from one server to another, we had to create a subdomain to contain the blog because the website builder software which was used to upload the html part of the sites was incompatible with the WP installation. So now their addresses are http://www.blog.workplaceevolution.com and blog.pure-possibility.org. The blogs are showing up separately, but now I can only log into the blog for pure-possibility.com. If I try to login to the workplaceevolution blog, it tells me the password is wrong, and it has redirected to the other blog’s login.

    Anyone have any insights??

I’m really stuck here. Does anyone have any ideas why, when I attempt to log into either http://www.blog.pure-possibility.com, or http://blog.workplaceevolution.com, I end up getting to the same login? (the latter switches to the pure-possibility blog’s login once I try to fill in the login details). Hmmmm…

check the site URLs in the wp_options table in the database.

Oh, thanks so much, fonglh. It turns out there were one too many databases within the server, and I was looking at the wrong one… so pointing that out made me look a little harder and it turns out the wp_options table WAS pointing to the wrong blog.

Sometimes I feel a little dense, but this blog stuff is a new language for me.
