I have a site using wordpress and I would like to utilise the blog system to call one blog per page.

For example I’d like the ‘welcome’ entry to be on the index, then specific blogs about specific aspects on their own pages.

Is this posible to do in wordpress? I can code php so if its possible but just time consuming thats fine 🙂

If anyone can point me in the right direction I’d be very grateful.

Just use the static front page feature in Administration > Settings > Reading and make that front page your welcome. Then for the other “specific aspects” use categories (assign approriate category to each post) and present the Category Widget (Administration > Appearance > Widgets) in your sidebar to give visitors links to those posts.

Also in Administration > Settings > Reading set the Blog pages show at most to 1 post.

Ok thank you for the information.

Would it be possible to set the links using premade images in the side bar as well? Just with a modified <a href=""><a> ?

I don’t know why you would want to do that, but that would work.

The site has specific images for a side navigation each one needs to lead to a specific page or set of posts.

    Thank you for your help.
