Image/Media Uploader problems?

    Hi,

    I have done everything that has been advised, and I still cannot get the simple Media manager to show up at the top of the write post pages next to the visual and html tabs. I simply have nothing there that will allow me to add images/video to my posts.

    Can someone please figure out what the heck the problem is and put in a fix for this.

    I have upgraded twice, deleting everything (except for my wp-content folder) and had everything simply overwrite when it was extracted. This is a serious problem that needs a resolution immediately.

    Correction!! When I switch to fullscreen mode the media manager buttons appear, but when I click on them, the screen just turns grey and sits there and does nothing.

    This happens in both firefox and IE. So what the heck is the problem here? This is really really bad!!
